Our food philosophy

One of the most important aspects of a feel-good event is fine food, an experience outside the ordinary. However, a day or two sitting at a conference, combined with heavy eating at meal breaks, works against the aspect of learning and creative thinking.

We are on a mission to change this.

We are about healthy food choices…

…about real, fresh food sourced from our kitchen gardens and ethical local suppliers. About menus with reduced fat, sugar, salt – free range and Green List compliant – no harmful additives. And we are about smaller, healthier desserts and snack portions as a lifestyle option.

Delicious food, nutritious food, sustainable food, creating joy and delight with each food serving, be it a grand dinner or a light snack – this is our feel-good as food visionaries, our language of love. Our kitchen and serving staff are enrolled in the “Be The Finest” programme fostering love and pride for every aspect of the food and hospitality journey.

Well-being | The event as a healthy experience

Nature as a source of well-being is important to us. All our venues are Healthy Venue Gold Certified with a focus on daylight in the conference rooms and outdoor or landscaped gardens as breakaway meeting spaces. We have pioneered the concept of more standing at conferences, walking meetings, breaking for a few minutes for stress relief – yoga stretching, breathing, meditation… even a local Pilates class or a round of golf at the end of a long day.
